Hogan European HR Survey

Postat de la 17 Dec, 2020 in categoria Assessment

At the end of October Hogan Assessment run a European survey regarding the Future of work.

Take a look at the summary results:

  • Responses came from all over Europe, mostly from mid/large size organizations (100-1000 employees), mid-level managers (but including all level of organizations and industries).
  • 87% of responses indicated a willingness to work in some form of remote working environment in the future, with most indicating a preference of 2-3 days weekly. 44% of respondents believe they were more productive and 42% believe they were as productive as they were in an office setting, with 67% saying their team were even more productive. Where the organizations need to improve to provide more result driven approach to productivity had a more divided response.
  • 60% of responses found working from home mentally challenging, though that does not seem to influence engagement. 86% (!) of people believe that they are engaged, (among 42% very engaged), with their organization, meanwhile in UK this positivity is lower but still indicated an engaged workforce.
  • Over 60% of responses indicated they have enough support from their manager, while over 80% thought that their company acted rapidly and supported their adaptation to the challenges of working from home.
  • 36% reported that it is harder to maintain professional relationship via remote work, while 35% agree that its harder to stand out. 45% of respondents do not agree with this.  It is possible that this bifurcation shows that there are groups of people who are reacting differently, possibility related to personality. The number one challenge is communication and collaboration.
