Management Focus (in house)

According to Hogan Assessments Systems studies, over the past 30 years, in more than 40 countries, in all continents, only 30% of current high performers could step into a leadership role and most employees would have trouble at the next level if not properly equipped with self-awareness and clarity about behavioral competencies needed.

In order to successfully manage a team, a manager should first of all know him/herself and to understand the impact of his/her personal style on the interactions between team members and on the culture they will work in.

Steps of the Program:

  • Completing Hogan Assessments questionnaires and access to own Management Focus profile. Each participant will receive his/her personal profile, which highlights motivational drivers, strong points and areas of development.
  • Understanding own profile and it’s impact on team’s productivity and morale: 1 day workshop. Besides understanding the personal profile, which represents the first stage in any development process, participants will understand the impact on the level of engagement and climate inside the team of the competencies associated to the 6 management styles.

The 6 management styles:

  • Results Manager (objectives, targets)
  • People Manager (nurturing relationships)
  • Process Manager (implementation, operations)
  • Thoughts Manager (creativity)
  • Social Manager (influence) 
  • Data Manager (information, learning)

Each participant will be coached in the creation of a personal action plan, correctly identifieing those behaviors he/she will need to continue, stop or start, in order for him/her to become rappidly efficient in the new management positions.

Who should attend?

People who are (or will be soon) newly promoted in a management role.
