Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (FPAM)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the business planning sessions (OP, SPB, SII, Short Range Outlook).
- Perform monthly variance analysis Vs Plan and derive actionable business recommendations.
- Lead the FP&A activity and develop and own the performance management reporting of the business.
- Ensure alignment and close working ties with Controllership.
- Report for local and US purposes and drive transparency across channels, products, and functions for all stakeholders.
- Own business's daily deal review rhythm and work cross-functionally
with key commercial, asset management, operations, and finance
stakeholders
- Integrate sales data, cost data, industry information, current
pricing practices and policies to evaluate commercial opportunities
- Develop and apply appropriate financial analysis enabling the
delivery of enhanced customer product and service offerings, while
improving business profitability
- Track Operating Expenses and Increase Cost Efficiency.
- Automate and simplify processes and systems to drive efficiency and quality of reporting.
- Provide the business with financial support/analytics around Assets,
Deal Flow and help all functions achieve operational objectives in
respect of revenue, margins and expenses.
- Organize, develop and coach banking group FP&A team
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance/ Accounting
- Proven finance/accounting/audit experience
- Superior analytical ability
- Prior FP&A Experience (or similar) strongly beneficial
- Experience of Banking & Consumer Finance business
- Effective leadership/interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate data and information into clear, actionable presentations
- Drive and self-starting skills - ability and interest in establishing/improving structures and processes
- Advance knowledge in MsExcel
